How do you spell a fun family weekend?
A is for animals, which were seen at Jacob's birthday party. B is for baptism, which baby Emily slept right through. C is for cake, decorated with dinosaurs for Jacob's birthday! D is for Diane and Don, who are thrilled to have a brand new granddaughter. E is for Emily, the newest member of our family. F is for Fergusons, who were a delight to visit with. G is for gifts that Jacob started opening when no one was looking. H is for hayride, a bumpy part of Jacob's birthday party. I is for in-laws, of which there were plenty in attendance. J is for Jacob, who turned 4 and had two parties! K is for kisses, which Jake gave to everyone, including his baby sister. L is for loving grandparents, which Jacob and Emily enjoyed all weekend. M is for messy diapers, which were lovingly changed by all the grandmas. N is for nobody, which is who didn't have a great time. O is for owie, which Jacob got on his toe while walking with Grandma and Grandpa Broman, but which did not hurt until he got within sight of his mom. P is for plane trip to Detroit, which only lasted 45 minutes and only cost $88 round trip. Q is for quiet, which nobody was all weekend. R is for robe, like the heirloom baptism robe that Emily wore. S is for Squeaky, Emily's new nickname. T is for tomatos, which Eric and Margaret grew, and which were delicious! U is for uncles, Jake's favorite people! V is for very fun, which was a good description of the weekend! W is for William Broman, an excellent grandpa to his two grandchildren. X is for Xtremely Xcited, which Jacob was when he saw his new bicycle! Y is for "YES WE CAN!", which is Bob The Builder's response to "Can we fix it?", as demonstrated by Jake.
