Autumn 2002

Number One Fun Thing I Did This Fall: Scrapbooking with Sunni and Serena. The three of us drove up to my mom's lake house for a weekend in September. We spent the whole weekend talking and laughing, cooking some good food, and scrapbboking our little hearts out. We got enough done to call it a good weekend. On the way home, Sunni and I stopped at a rest stop where I met Abraham Lincoln. He's one of my best buddies now. We're tight.

Number Two Fun Thing I Did This Fall: Dressing up for Halloween! We had a "Superheroes" theme here at work for our Halloween costumes. Everyone dressed up! I was Grammar Queen, Defender of the English Language! I wore my prom dress, believe it or not. We also set up an "Iron Chef" food day for Halloween. We named it after the Japanese TV show. The way this works is: there's one challenge food. Everyone has to prepare a dish that uses the challenge ingredient. There's a panel of judges who choose the best dish. The person who made the best dish is crowned the "Iron Chef"! And what was our challenge ingredient, you may ask?? The challenge food this time was...peanut butter! Cathy won, and she got to choose the next challenge ingredient. She chose cream cheese. Mmmmmmm....
